Professional development
Over the past four years I have volunteered my time to assist a number of different schools and teachers when ever possible. Much of my volunteer work has been with Andy Hair; Lead Physical Education teacher at Leopold Primary and also School Sports Victoria; Greater Western Region coordinator. As a volunteer we have attended a number of different sports carnivals from Geelong, to Bendigo, Warrnambool, Hamilton and Ballarat. I have done this as I a have followed a Physical Education streamline and to gain more experience in the field of Physical Education (what it takes to be a physical education teacher inc. planning, teaching strategies etc).
I have also attended a school camp with Bellaire Primary School to gather an understanding of the hard work and planning the goes into a school camp with a large group of students. Along with this I have offered to coach a number of different sporting sides within the schools I have attended. My reason for doing this is because I enjoy living a healthy and active life and promoting this in our youth.
